A certificate in your pocket gives proof of your knowledge of English, as well as pleasure.

You have almost certainly heard of the First Certificate in English, but did you know that Cambridge organises other examinations?

They exist for all levels! And you can also take either commercial or general English examinations.

bullet At the first level is the Key English Test (KET);
bullet its big brother is called the Preliminary English Test (PET);
bullet the best-known, the First Certificate in English (FCE), follows;
bullet after that, you can attack the Certificate in Advanced English (CAE);
bullet and the most difficult is the Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE).

For businessmen and businesswomen, you start with the Business English Certificate 1, which is equivalent to the level of the PET, then you try the Business English Certificate 2 and, surprise, surprise!... you finish with the Business English Certificate 3 (CAE level).
